The book was ideal for giving me an insight into the police response course and the driving system that is teached in the raodcraft such as the information, position, speed, gears and acceleration and explains how to plan your approach on overtaking vehicles, etc. I have already put it into practice in my first weeks driving.

I'm currently doing my IAM's Advanced Motoring course and this book is definitely worth getting if you're planning on doing any of the advanced driving courses out there. I bought it as an update to the 1980's version of the same text as a few things have changed since then apparently!
Definitely worth the price.

As it says on the book, essential reading for "anyone" looking to improve their driving skills. You dont have to be a policeman to benefit from this book!!

This is a brilliant book for tweaking your driving skills up a few notches. It's full of extra tips and ideas which will help combat bad habits and complacency which creep into most drivers' long term driving methods. It's delivered in a nonpatronising way and shows that driving really is a craft which can worked on and improved no matter where the baseline driving skills may be. This results in a safer driving environment for us all.Well recommended.
