- Too much theory, good engine rebuild info, little mod info
Very disappointing. Expounds at length on crankshaft and piston theory and little on rod theory. Gives theoretical explanation with few examples of real world engines. Duplicates info on teardown, cleaning, preparation, and buildup available from other [better] sources. Very little on how to implement the few mods mentioned. No mention of how to choose a modified rod length; one paragraph on the benefit of lengthening rods. poor parts selection info; few recommendations. This book represents ... Read More
