As with all his works, Mr.Cameron explains in a language everyone can understand, illustrates beautifully where an illustration aids explanation. Read this book before having any tuning work done on your bike and you can explain precisely what you want. Beware though, once you've read it twice, you -will- get deja-moo from the bull spouted by barroom experts. For any Brits reading this, he is on a par with the great, late and much lamented John Robinson.

Stunning technical insights into what I thought I understood. I'm now depressed knowing how little I knew about engines. KC's writing is such that even dumwits like me can understand complex technology. Worth every penny ( unless your about to start stripping a modern superbike to try and make it go faster !!).

I bought this because I have just started racing and thought it would be a good reference book. It is exceptional. If you are considering getting some work done on your bike - suspension tuning for example, buy the book, read the relevant chapter and then contact a tuner. That way you will be able to ask intelligent questions and assess the service you are likely to receive.
